The Schwab Strategic Trust lowered the operating expense ratio for the Schwab International Dividend Equity ETF (SCHY) to 0.08% from 0.14%, effective Friday.
The move makes the fund the lowest-cost ETF in its Morningstar category, Schwab said.
“This change is emblematic of Schwab Asset Management’s commitment to investors to lower costs and deliver savings to them,” said Nicohl Bogan, director of product strategy and development at Schwab Asset Management.
The fund aims to track an index composed of high-dividend stocks issued by non-U.S. companies.
