Certuity, a multifamily office firm, has hired former UBS executive Giuliano Celle as a managing director and head of institutional wealth.
Before joining Certuity, Celle was managing director of global family and institutional wealth for Latin American and international business at UBS. In that role, he oversaw strategic direction and scaled a cross-divisional coverage model designed for institutional family offices and sophisticated private capital investors across the region. Before UBS, he held senior roles at JPMorgan.
Rich Bursek, president and partner at Certuity, cited Celle’s “deep international expertise and proven track record” advising ultra-high-net-worth families and institutions as key drivers of his appointment.
“His institutional perspective, entrepreneurial mindset and global network strengthen our ability to deliver the sophisticated, highly customized solutions that families expect from Certuity,” Bursek said in a statement.
Celle said he is honored to join Certuity at such a moment in its growth as an UHNW specialist firm.
“Certuity’s mission to deliver personalized family office and wealth management solutions resonates deeply with me,” Celle said. “I look forward to contributing to the continued institutionalization of the platform, building from our New York presence and supporting the firm’s network of families and partners.”
Celle’s mandate also includes broadening the firm’s institutional wealth capabilities, according to the announcement, while strengthening access to private market and direct deal opportunities. He will also work to deepen strategic relationships with the firm’s “anchor families.”
