A former UBS advisor team led by Rachel Gottlieb and William Rose has joined Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division out of its Midtown Wealth Management Center in New York.
While at UBS, the team specialized in serving professional athletes and entertainers. Their combined assets under management at UBS were about $1 billion, with $10 million in annual revenue.
Joining Gottlieb and Rose at Morgan Stanley are four team members: Kayla Gayle Gager, director of investments; Kasten Randolph Carter, director of business strategy; Julia Lajeunesse, business development associate; and Mary Zwaan, registered client service associate.
Together, the team focuses on multigenerational planning, including helping clients with retirement, education, insurance, charitable giving and wealth transfer strategies.
Over the course of her career, Gottlieb has worked with Grammy award-winning artists and entertainers, as well as professional athletes as a NFLPA Institutional Financial Advisor with the National Football Leagues Player Association. She will become a global sports and entertainment director at Morgan Stanley.
Rose has worked in the wealth management industry since 1999, also serving Grammy award-winning artists and entertainers and professional athletes via the NFLPA Institutional Financial Advisor program. Like Gottlieb, he becomes a global sports and entertainment director at Morgan Stanley.
