Aflac Inc. is once again joining forces with Macy’s Inc. to sell the plush Aflac Holiday Duck to raise funds to fight children’s cancer.
This year’s Holiday Duck is dressed in a light blue scarf and hat. The duck itself is adorned with a snowflake and when squeezed makes the famous “Afla-a-a-c” sound. The ducks, which come in six-inch and 10-inch versions, can be purchased at more than 200 Macy’s department stores and at Aflacholidayduck.com.
It is the tenth year of the Holiday Duck charity program. Proceeds are distributed to 40 participating pediatric cancer hospitals. The duck has raised nearly $3 million for pediatric cancer research and treatment, according to Aflac, Columbus, Ga.
