Serota Lands at Ernst & Young

NEW YORK (HedgeWorld.com)–Ernst & Young hired Michael J. Serota to lead its global hedge fund tax practice.

Mr. Serota previously worked at Deloitte & Touche, where he was a partner and leader of that firm’s national hedge fund practice, and at Arthur Andersen, where he was co-leader of the hedge fund practice.

“Mike Serota is widely known and highly regarded in the hedge fund market as a leading industry resource,” Joel Press, global hedge fund leader for the asset management industry at Ernst & Young, said in a statement.
