DPM Hires New European Marketing Head

SOMERSET, N.J. (HedgeWorld.com)–Alan Tooker was hired by Derivatives Portfolio Management LLC as head of the back-office and administration firm’s marketing and client servicing in Europe, working out of its recently established London office.

Mr. Tooker previously was chief operating officer and finance director for GNI Fund Management Ltd., a London hedge fund manager now called Bright Capital. Bright renamed itself as part of a restructuring that was announced in May .Officials at Bright couldn’t be reached for comment.

“Alan has successfully managed the administration and operations for several large hedge funds and knows what our clients need,” said Robert M. Aaron, chairman and chief executive of DPM, in a statement. Mr. Tooker also has worked at Sabre Fund Management Ltd., London.
