Conference On Offshore Investing Slated For March

NU Online News Service, Jan. 30, 3:30 p.m. – The Institute for International Research, New York, has announced its annual Forum on Investing in Offshore Funds.

The event, scheduled March 4 and 5 at the Sheraton Bal Harbour in Miami, Fla., will include discussions of the current climate for tighter legal and regulatory restrictions on offshore products, including anti-money laundering requirements to ensure appropriate tax and disclosure practices. A workshop on strategies for handling offshore funds will be included, headed by experts from PriceWaterhouseCoopers L.L.P., New York.
