Integrity Marketing Group LLC says it has acquired NEAT Management Group from Tim McCoy, the owner.

Integrity Marketing is a privately held, Dallas-based life and health products distributor with ties to about 140,000 independent agents.

NEAT is an Austin, Texas-based distributor of final expense life insurance products.

NEAT Management's History

Tim McCoy's grandfather, J.H. Mac McCoy, jumped into the life insurance business, as an agent for American National Insurance Company, in the 1940s, according to NEAT's website.

Tim McCoy's father, Charles McCoy Sr., was a Navy submarine veteran. After Charles McCoy  Sr. left the Navy, he worked with a number of different life insurers, including National Western Life Insurance Company.

Charles McCoy Sr. founded NEAT in 1973, and Tim McCoy came aboard in 1975.

Tim McCoy's own son, Shea McCoy, has been working for the company since 2001.

NEAT Products

Today, in addition to distributing final expense life insurance from seven different carriers, NEAT distributes traditional life insurance from four carriers, Medicare supplement insurance from two carriers, and a product from Washington National that combines accident insurance with critical illness insurance.

The Integrity Deal

Integrity Marketing is not saying how much it paid for NEAT, but it says Tim McCoy is now one of the owners of Integrity.

Tim McCoy will continue to lead NEAT, and NEAT will continue to operate under its own brand, in its current offices in Austin, Texas, according to Integrity Marketing.

Integrity Marketing says all of NEAT's employees will keep their jobs.
