Wayne Pryor to Lead Southern Farm Bureau Life

The board of Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company has elected Wayne Pryor, a Virginia farmer, president and chairman.

Southern Farm Bureau Life is a Jackson, Mississippi-based life insurer that’s owned by Farm Bureau organizations in 10 Southern states.

Pryor produces hay and grain in Goochland County, Virginia.

He has been the president of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation since 2006 and  is a member of the board of the American Farm Bureau Federation.

He is also the president of the Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co. and of Countryway Mutual Insurance Co. of Syracuse, New York.

Pryor has been on the Southern Farm Bureau Life board since 1998.
