Hub Acquires Agent's Book of Disability Insurance Business

Hub International Ltd. has hired an experienced disability insurance specialist and bought his book of disability insurance business.

The disability insurance specialist is Brian Allain. Allain has been working at Certified Financial Services LLC of Paramus, New Jersey, since 2017.

Allain has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rowan University, according to his LinkedIn entry.

After he earned his degree, he spent 28 years as a disability insurance at Northwestern Mutual.

From 2014 through 2017, he was affiliated with a New Jersey-based general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company for three years.

Hub, which is based in Chicago, says Allain will continue to work out of Paramus.

He will report to Joe Torella,  Hub’s president of employee benefits for the Northeast Region.
