Aria Retirement Solutions is adding a fee-based indexed annuity from Great American Life Insurance Company to its RetireOne life insurance and annuity exchange program.

RetireOne will offer Great American’s Index Protector 7 contract to registered investment advisors and fee-based advisors.
The RetireOne system reaches about 900 RIAs and fee-based advisors.
In addition to Great American, the list of other companies offering products through the RetireOne program includes Allianz, Ameritas, Great-West Financial, Nationwide, Symetra, TIAA and Transamerica.
Ed Mercier, the president of RetireOne, said in a statement that this might be a good time for RIAs and fee-based advisors to offer clients that can protect the clients’ principal against the effects of an investment market correction.
