Global Atlantic Financial Group Ltd. says it has updated its indexed annuity products.

The company writes the annuities through its Forethought Life Insurance Company subsidiary.
One change could help a holder with health problems pull income from an annuity more easily, Global Atlantic says.
Global Atlantic has also changed the contracts’ death benefit features, and it has expanded the menu of interest crediting options.
The Global Atlantic contracts offer access to indices such as the BlackRock Diversa index, the Russell 2000 index, and the Franklin US Index, as well as to more widely used indices, such as the S&P 500 index.
Global Atlantic is distributing the updated annuities through broker-dealers, banks and independent agents.
