Fidelity customers took to social media early Tuesday with complaints about difficulty accessing the firm’s website, mobile app and active trading platform.

“We are aware that some customers are experiencing issues with http://fidelity.com/, Active Trader Pro (ATP), and our mobile apps,” the company posted on X. “We are working urgently on resolving the issues. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your being a customer.”

Outage monitoring site Downdetector showed over 1,100 problem reports shortly after 9 a.m. Eastern standard time, with 52% citing login troubles, 31% website access and 17% trading problems. The reports spiked at about 9:40 a.m. before beginning to trend downward.

“Fidelity is completely down,” one X.com user wrote. “Can’t even go to their website. Anyone else having issues?”

A Fidelity spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
