A fraternal benefit society says it has helped its 3 million members do good along with helping them do well.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Minneapolis, estimates it contributed about $143 million to charity at the corporate level, and that member volunteer activities raised another $178 million.
Thrivent members and other affiliated volunteers also helped build 556 homes for families in need, the company says.
