So you want to mingle with high-net-worth individuals and make a good impression? The holiday season provides multiple opportunities. If you page through the local newspaper every week, open all your mail and visit the websites of your favorite charities, you should find many holiday events to attend. Your friends will throw parties, too. Clients sometimes invite their advisor. (Sending them Christmas cards helps!) You might want to party, but people still ask business-related questions. After a few drinks, people will start to ask about the stock market, investments or even about becoming a client.
