Midnight Financial Combines With Passerelle Partners

Two independent financial services firms that are affiliated with Lion Street have merged.

Midnight Financial Group is combining with Passerelle Partners LLC.

Passerelle Partners is a Miami Beach, Florida-based insurance advisory firm that specializes in setting up premium financed structures. It helps entrepreneurial families with asset protection, wealth transfer and succession strategies.

Fernando Pou and Victoria Mayer lead Passerelle Partners.

Midnight Financial is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based firm that has focused on setting up life insurance arrangements that incorporate premium financing.

Christopher Daniels has been running Midnight Financial. Previously, Daniels was a co-founding member of another financial company, Verite Group LLC, in 2009. He started Midnight Financial after leaving Verite Group, according to the Midnight Financial website.

Lion Street is an Austin, Texas-based organization that is comprised of over 185 independent owner-firms.

The Passerelle Partners-Midnight Financial combination will operate under the Passerelle Partners brand name, with Daniels as the managing partner in charge of the advisory platform.

Daniels will focus on working with advisors to explore, design, execute and mange premium-finance strategies for their clients
