Prudential Financial Inc. says it has online survey results showing that U.S. workers care even more about retirement security than about many other hot-button public policy issues, such as job security, the minimum wage and the cost of college.
Prudential included retirement security on a list of six economic concerns that might come up this summer as candidates are campaigning for Congress.
Workers who took the survey ranked retirement security as the most interesting economic issue: 80% said they want to hear more from congressional candidates about retirement security.

Job security came in second, with 75% of the survey participants wanting to hear more about that issue.
Just 67% want to hear more from candidates about the minimum wage. Only 61% want to hear more about the cost of college.
