Orion announced on Tuesday that it is launching a new onboarding portal with support from current partner Mineral Interactive, a digital design and marketing firm.

The Prospect Portal will give advisors on Orion’s platform a customizable way to collect information from prospects, along with a streamlined view of the account activity.

Other features include:

  • Integration with third-party questionnaires and risk management providers like Riskalyze to create personalized risk assessments.
  • Secure file sharing with popular platforms like Box, Dropbox and Citrix Sharefile supported.
  • Integration with aggregation platform Wealth Access, which provides data from more than 20,000 institutions.
  • An open-source design delivered through WordPress that can be integrated with an advisor’s personal website.

“Mineral and Orion understand that advisor communication with prospects is critical. With the Prospect Portal, our goal is to allow advisors to better gate key content, communicate their onboarding process and engage prospects with many of the best-in-class advisor software solutions,” Mineral CEO Jud Mackrill said in a statement. “The Prospect Portal is an exciting new solution for advisors who are looking to build a digital footprint and improve their prospect communication.”

Orion announced the new portal at its inaugural Ascent conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, where it brought together advisors who use its platform for training and networking.

Orion announced this summer that it was partnering with Mineral as well as portfolio modeling and proposal generator AdvisoryWorld on a new marketing platform for TAMPs.
