From software engineer to lumberjack, CareerCast.com ranked 200 jobs from best to worst based on physical demands, work environment, income, hiring outlook and stress. The 200 were selected for their relevance in the current job market as well the availability of reliable data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and other government agencies. Rounding out the top five occupations on the list: No. 1 – software engineer, No. 2 – actuary, No. 3 – human resources manager, No. 4 – dental hygienist, No. 5 – financial planner.
