The Marketing Alliance Inc. (TMA) says efforts to increase efficiency buoyed profits in the latest quarter.

TMA, St. Louis, is reporting $489,794 in net income for the quarter ending Sept. 30 on $4.8 million in revenue, compared with $375,197 in net income on $4.8 million in revenue for the comparable quarter in 2009.

TMA distributes insurance products to independent agencies.
