Callan Associates Hires Morgan Dempsey as Sub-Advisor

Callan Associates hired Morgan Dempsey Capital Management, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday, August 20, as a sub-advisor for its Diversified Alpha Small Cap Equity Fund.

Morgan Dempsey Small/Micro-cap strategy will manage $28 million for the San Francisco-based consulting firm.

“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to work with Callan,” David Durham, co-principal of Morgan Dempsey, said in a press release. “We believe we have a very unique investment strategy and adding a client like Callan Associates is an indication that our hard work and long-term results are getting noticed.”

Pension and Investments named Morgan Dempsey Small/Micro-Cap Value one of the top small blend separate account managers over the previous five years, as of March 31, 2010.
