UBS AG hired Mitchell Revsine, an options strategist from Citigroup Inc., as the U.S. derivatives strategist in New York.

Bloomberg reports Revsine, 43, will work with stock analysts to produce reports about the options market and trade recommendations, according to an internal memo sent to UBS employees on Tuesday, July 13. He will be an executive director and will report to David Bleustein, head of U.S. equities research, the memo said.

According to the news service, Revsine spent the past three years as an equity derivatives strategist at Citigroup in New York and has worked in the industry for 15 years. Bloomberg cites the memo, which was confirmed by UBS spokeswoman Allison Chin-Leong. Revsine previously worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. for three years and spent seven years at JPMorgan Chase & Co., according to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records.
