Bernard Madoff will plead guilty this week to 11 counts. He faces up to 150 years in prison.

Madoff’s attorney told the judge the possibility of a guilty plea on Thursday is “a fair expectation.”

Madoff was granted the right to legal counsel despite potential conflicts of interest, according today’s Associated Press. He has been under house arrest since December.
