Boomers more worried about staying fit than economy

TeeBeeDee.com, a social networking site for boomers, found among a poll of more than 550 boomers that there’s a priority to stay fit over fiscal concerns.

According to the site’s poll, boomers’ main goals for 2009 are :

  • Physical: Get fit, lose weight, eat well – 48 percent
  • Financial: spend less, save more, pay off debt – 31 percent
  • Social: get active in the community – 11 percent
  • Educational: degrees, classes, trades – 9 percent
