New Year's resolutions for success

It’s just a couple of more days before we turn the page on 2008 and usher in 2009. This year has been tough on many in the financial services industry. I’ve spoken with many of you, either by phone or e-mail, to get your feedback on the past year. While there were some individual success stories, most of you have told us your numbers were off of projections, which should be expected under the current economic climate. In fact, in a December reader’s poll, we asked about your sales. The numbers were startling, with 13 percent exceeding sales goals, 13 percent hitting sales goals and 75 percent falling below sales goals.
