Invest in Others

LPL Financial created the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation in 2006 to recognize its advisors and their impact on their communities, and to further encourage ongoing philanthropy. In 2007, the Foundation hosted the first annual Community Leadership Awards program to recognize extraordinary humanitarianism industry-wide. Nearly 500 financial advisors–representing a variety of brokerage firms from across the nation–were nominated in four categories: Volunteer Team, Community Leadership, Mentoring Excellence, and Volunteer of the Year.
