An insurer is offering more retirement savings choices.
Nationwide Financial Services Inc., Columbus, Ohio, has introduced the marketFLEX Advisor variable annuity contract, which is designed for fee-based financial professionals, and the America’s marketFLEX II VA contract, which offers more income and death benefit guarantee options.
The Advisor contract offers access to all Rydex Global Advisors funds including a variety of “alternative asset” classes, Nationwide says.
The marketFLEX II contract offers the iFLEX rider, an optional guaranteed minimum withdrawal benefit income rider.
Other options available with the marketFLEX II contract include a return-of-premium option, for an additional charge of 0.2%; a 1-year step-up option, which is available through age 75 at an additional cost of 0.3%; and a 4% Extra Value rider.
Buyers of either the Advisory annuity or the marketFLEX II annuity can buy an actively managed asset allocation service, the Dynamic Advantage Program, at a cost of 0.35%, Nationwide says.
