Advisor Software Inc., the Lafayette, California-based technology company that has long provided enterprise-level software and more recently has made some of its products available to individual advisors, is on the verge of beta testing a new application called ASI Wealth Manager. According to Neal Ringquist, president and COO of ASI, the product reflects the company’s desire to bring “complete continuity to the workflow” of advisors, allowing advisors to holistically provide advice to clients based on “the perspective of a household balance sheet” that includes all assets and liabilities. Following the ASI business model, ASI Wealth Manager will at first be licensed to the financial institutions through whom its software products have long been distributed, including asset managers, broker/dealers, and banks.

However, Ringquist notes that as part of its efforts to reach individual advisors (as evidenced in Schwab Institutional’s recent adoption on its platform of ASI’s Portfolio Rebalancing Solution) it is inviting those individual advisors to sign up for the beta test at http://www.advisorsoftware.com/contact/Wealth_Manager.asp.
