An insurer has put together a package of marketing materials for financial professionals who want to help clients use variable annuities to fund retirement income arrangements.

MetLife Investors Distribution Company, Irvine, Calif., a unit of MetLife Inc., New York, says its new lifetime income kit discusses the use of VA contracts in efforts to protect clients against the risk of outliving their resources.

The kit includes brochures, sales ideas, sample client seminars and worksheets aimed at the financial professionals, according to MetLife.
