Co-portfolio manager E. Tucker Scott, executive VP of Templeton Investment Counsel, the sub-advisor to the fund, is based in Geneva. Scott is responsible for the equity portion of the fund, and for institutional and retail accounts. He joined Templeton in 1996, and has managed the fund since June 2000.

Scott, a CFA, holds an MBA from at Dartmouth College’s Amos Tuck School of Business, and a University of Virginia BA in history. In off hours, Scott spends time with family, reads (mostly history), and plays tennis and golf.

Fixed-income co-portfolio manager of the fund since March 2006, Michael Hasenstab, PhD, is a VP and co-director of investment strategies for the Global Fixed Income Group at Templeton Investment Counsel.

Hasenstab holds an international relations/political economy BA from Carlton College, and a master’s in economics of development, as well as an economics PhD, from the Asia Pacific School of Economics and Management at Australian National University.
