Fidelity to Offer CRM, Financial Planning Applications

Advisors affiliated with Fidelity Registered Investment Advisor Group will have customized versions of two popular applications available to them in the fourth quarter: Oracle’s Siebel customer relationship management offering, and EISI’s NaviPlan Central. Both applications will be integrated with FRIAG’s Advisor Channel brokerage platform; pricing has yet to be set, according to Gary Gallagher, senior VP with FRIAG.

The integration of the applications with data already residing on the Fidelity brokerage system is what makes the offerings attractive, allowing the advisor to prepopulate fields on the CRM and financial planning software with existing data on the client that already lives on Fidelity’s brokerage platform.

The Siebel CRM system, which is used internally within Fidelity and in Fidelity’s retail operation, is a customized version of Oracle’s Siebel CRM On Demand, Customer data is hosted by Siebel, not Fidelity, and while Fidelity said it assumes principals of advisory firms will use the CRM software, it includes a workflow feature so that the principal can pass along duties to other staffers.

NaviPlan Central is the online version of the popular financial planning software; reports created through NaviPlan can be customized with the advisor’s own logo.
