About the manager

London-based Gonzalo P??ngaro is VP and an investment committee member for T. Rowe Price International Funds, Inc., and VP and portfolio manager for T. Rowe Price International, Inc. He joined the firm in 1998, co-managed the Latin America Fund (PRLAX) from January 2000 to December 2002, then was head of international research for 2003. He has been portfolio manager of PRLAX since January 2004. He manages the Latin America portion of all of the firm’s emerging markets funds.

Originally from Argentina, P??ngaro holds the CFA designation, and graduated from Argentine Catholic University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and from Universidad del CEMA in Buenos Aires with a master’s degree in finance.
