Web Site Calls Health Brokers For Consumers

Vimo Inc. has adopted a tool that could create a new source of health insurance leads.

Vimo, Mountain View, Calif., says it is starting to use a “click to call” button on its health insurance comparison Web site.

When a consumer clicks on the button and supplies a telephone number, Vimo will call the consumer and also connect the consumer with the first available local health insurance broker in its broker database, Vimo says.

Because the system goes down a list of brokers in the consumer’s area, it can find a broker even if some of the brokers on the list fail to pick up, Vimo says.
