Penn Treaty American Corp. is courting financial advisors with the PersonalLTC program, a long term care insurance sales system that offers advisors extra support.

Penn Treaty, Allentown, Pa., says it has developed a simplified, Web-based application process for the program and developed a network of “several hundred” LTC insurance specialists who will provide support for only 35 advisors at a time.

Penn Treaty is offering “customized wealth preservations” solutions and “broad underwriting” standards that should reduce the number of declines, the company says.

Penn Treaty writes LTC insurance through 2 subsidiaries, American Network Insurance Company and American Independent Network Insurance Company of New York.
