Concentra Network Services says a large preferred provider organization unit will be buying care management services from an outside vendor.
The PPO unit, Beech Street Corp., will be buying the Total Care Management package of services from SHPS Inc., Louisville, Ky., according to Concentra, a unit of Concentra Operating Corp., Addison, Texas.
The deal includes utilization management, case management, disease management and maternity management services, Concentra says.
Concentra and SHPS are not discussing the price of the deal.
