American General Life Insurance Company and the United States Life Insurance Company have introduced a bilingual customer service call center for individual policyholders.

American General Life, Houston, and U.S. Life, New York, are both units of American International Group Inc., New York.

The new call center, at (800) 835-6458, can provide access to English-speaking and Spanish-speaking customer service representatives from 9 a.m. Eastern Time to 6 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

The reps can help customers with questions about supplemental health insurance policies as well as with universal life, term life and whole life policies.
