Allianz Executive To Lead ACORD

ACORD has designated Clement Booth to be the group’s new chair.

Booth, a manager in the property-casualty operations at a unit of Allianz A.G., Munich, succeeds Barbara Koster.

ACORD, Pearl River, N.Y., says John Kellington, chief technology officer at Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, Fairfield, Ohio, will be the chair-elect. Before Kellington worked for Ohio Casualty, he spent 18 years at International Business Machines Corp., Armonk, N.Y.

ACORD is a nonprofit group that helps develop technical standards for the insurance industry.
