Protective Life Insurance Company, a unit of Protective Life Corp., Birmingham, Ala., has introduced the Protective Centennial G Universal Life policy.

The flexible-premium UL policy offers a lapse-protection option that can keep the policy from lapsing as long as the lapse protection account value equals or exceeds the policy debt.
Holders can pay for the policy with level premiums over many years or with a short series of payments, according to Protective Life.
