An Iowa insurer’s stockholders have blessed a proposed acquisition.
Holders of 98% of the shares of AmerUs Group Company, Des Moines, Iowa, who voted on plans by Aviva P.L.C., London, to buy AmerUs have approved the deal, according to AmerUs.
AmerUs and Aviva still need approval from regulators in Iowa, Indiana, Kansas and New York.
