Companies Set Up HSA Credit Program

First HSA Inc. and MedDirect L.L.C. are marketing an overdraft protection service aimed at participants in employer-sponsored health savings account programs.

First HSA, Reading, Pa., an HSA administration firm, and MedDirect, Grand Rapids, Mich., a patient health finance firm, say the new Health Bridge service can provide protection equal to the full amount of the HSA deductible for all participating employees, regardless of the employees’ credit history.
