The insurer, Nationwide Financial Services Inc., Columbus, Ohio, has started delivering statements and other documents to life insurance and annuity customers through electronic mail.

The company also has moved personal investor account information and educational resources to http://www.nationwide.com

Nationwide also has added password protection and Secure Sockets Layer security to the investor site, speeded up downloads, and adjusted the site so that it will work better with screen readers and other tools used by individuals with disabilities.
