About The Manager

Financial sector funds have been David H. Ellison’s focus for more than two decades. He spent 13 years at Fidelity Investments, developing his investment philosophy with guidance from legendary value investor Peter Lynch, and managing the Fidelity Select Home Sector Fund for 11 years. Ellison joined Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, Inc. in 1996 and is portfolio manager for the FBR Small Cap Financial and Large Cap Financial Funds, and co-portfolio manager for the FBR Large Cap Technology Fund. He is president of FBR Fund Advisors and president and CIO of FBR Funds.
