A team at Allstate Corp. has developed a tool for Allstate agents who want to sell variable annuities.[@@]
The team has introduced the ClearCast Illustrations system, a system that help agents and brokers illustrate how a variable annuity contract might perform under a wide variety of conditions.
Users can customize illustrations to include many different product riders and features, including dollar cost averaging, and the system can update itself by pulling in current VA subaccount performance information through the Web, according to Allstate, Northbrook, Ill.
The tool also can show rate projections, and producers who use the system can save cases and retrieve them later, Allstate says.
