CIGNA Corp. has named Paul Hartley to be president of its CIGNA International unit.[@@]
Hartley will succeed Terry Kendall, 58, who died of cancer earlier this month. Kendall became president of CIGNA International in 1999.
Hartley, who began working for CIGNA, Philadelphia, in 1985, has been chief executive officer of CIGNA’s Asia-Pacific region.
Hartley is a graduate of the University of Sheffield & Hallam in England. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
