Hartford Backs Murderball Film

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. is promoting the abilities of people with disabilities by supporting the release of an independent documentary.[@@]

The Hartford insurer is sponsoring a series of premieres and screenings for “Murderball,” a film about quadriplegic athletes in armored wheelchairs who play a game that combines elements of hockey, basketball and football. The players originally called the game “murderball” and since have responded to concern about the name by changing it to “quadriplegic rugby.”
