Hartford Unit Hires Former Phoenix Execs

Woodbury Financial Services, the independent broker-dealer of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., has hired 2 former executives from the Phoenix Companies, Hartford.[@@]

John Infanti joined Woodbury as its eastern divisional vice president. He will be responsible for supervising more than a dozen regional sales directors and over 800 financial professionals in the company’s eastern region.

He had been managing principal at W.S. Griffith Securities, which Phoenix recently sold to LPL Financial Services, Boston.

In addition, Leon Monroe joined Woodbury as vice president of national sales development. He will be in charge of recruiting representatives for the company’s distribution network.

Monroe had been VP of national sales development for Phoenix.

Both executives will report to Brian Murphy, president and chief executive of Woodbury Financial.
