A Hamilton, Bermuda, life reinsurer says its final, audited 2004 results were similar to what it announced in February in its 2004 earnings release.[@@]

The reinsurer, Scottish Re Group Ltd., announced last week that it was postponing the filing of its 2004 Form 10-K annual report because of delays in verifying the records of a London unit that is converting to an electronic administration system from a manual system.

Net income for the fourth quarter has increased to $21 million in the final report, up from $19.3 million in the earnings release, Scottish Re says.

Net income for 2004 has increased to $71.4 million in the final report, up from $69.6 million in the earnings release.
