The distribution arm of a Philadelphia insurer has promoted a financial executive.[@@]
The company, Lincoln Financial Distributors Inc., a unit of Lincoln National Corp., has named Diane McCarthy chief financial officer and chief administrative officer.
McCarthy previously was the distribution unit's financial reporting director.
McCarthy's predecessor, Michael Smith, is now chief financial officer at Lincoln National's Lincoln National Life Insurance Company unit.
McCarthy has a bachelor's degree in accounting from LaSalle University and holds the Certified Public Accountant professional designation.
