A Richmond, Va., insurer has introduced a new television commercial.[@@]

Genworth Financial Inc. is using a commercial featuring Andre Agassi and Steffi Graff, 2 married tennis stars, to explain what it does.

The ad debuted Dec. 9 on NBC, during the second-to-last episode of “The Apprentice,” and it will start appearing regularly on cable television in January 2005.

Genworth ran an earlier ad featuring Agassi and Graff. That ad introduced the company to the public but said little about Genworth’s products.

Genworth has been selling insurance for years, but it has been a stand-alone company for only a few months. In the past, Genworth was a subsidiary of General Electric Company, Fairfield, Conn.
