NU Online News Service, May 11, 2004, 12:29 p.m. EDT – Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Appleton, Wis., has merged 2 of its funds.[@@]

The company has combined the AAL Variable Product Series Fund Inc. with the LB Series Fund Inc. to form the Thrivent Series Fund. Thrivent will use the fund in variable annuities and variable universal life insurance products.
